One year prior reservations or front office experience required. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Position Purpose:
Work with group sales managers and group contacts to ensure all group reservations are accurate and complete.
Example of Duties:
Work closely with group leaders and members to create and maintain group reservation
Build group SRP’s and allocate hotel inventory to specific groups based on sales contracts.
Set up and monitor group billing.
Input rooming lists provided by group contacts.
Flag VIP guests and ensure that they receive the appropriate room types.
Monitor group room inventory to ensure that necessary room types are available.
All other duties as assigned by your manager.
Supportive Functions:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the hotel.
Assist in the capacity of reservationist when needed.
Initiate and prepare reports such as group rooming lists, group arrival lists, etc.
Assist office in any other administrative duties as needed such as covering shifts in reservations and at the front desk as needed.
Maintain an open line of communication between guests, employees, and management.
Other:
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Hilton from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Hilton rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities. Employees who violate Hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
